Zoom-through
A zoom-through drives the camera into an element until it fills the frame, then uses that filled frame as the transition into the next shot. It feels like the film passes through the interface instead of cutting around it.
When to use it
Use it on pills, buttons, logos, charts, or strong geometric shapes. The destination should share the same color or shape so the move feels inevitable.
Common mistakes
Diving through weak shapes; missing the beat at the moment the frame fills; using it repeatedly without escalation.
