Slide reveal

A slide reveal moves words or lines in from the side while fading them into place. The direction gives the viewer a reading path and can make lists or claims feel like they are being delivered in sequence.

When to use it

Use it for lists, feature stacks, and before-after comparisons. Choose the direction based on the composition, not habit.

Common mistakes

Sliding text too far; letting words cross over other content; using side motion when the layout has no directional logic.

How Impractical uses it

Slide is one of Impractical's named text reveals and appears in block-level patterns like streak lists and feature stacks.
