Launch-out ease

Launch-out is a sharper ease-out curve for moments that must read almost instantly: a word landing, a chip popping, or a small proof point snapping into view. It is faster than a normal ease-out but still settles softly enough to avoid looking mechanical.

When to use it

Use it for micro-cuts and quick graphic landings. It works best when an element has to arrive on a beat and be readable immediately.

Using it for slow cinematic camera travel; making every movement equally sharp; pairing it with long durations that cancel out the curve's point.

Impractical's launch-out curve exists for dense launch videos where the audience has a fraction of a second to register each beat. It helps the system keep text readable while still cutting quickly.
