Promo-inout ease

Promo-inout is an in-out curve for camera movement and large compositional changes. It accelerates into the move, travels with intent, and decelerates into the new frame. It is better for camera pushes and recenters than for small UI elements.

When to use it

Use it when the whole frame moves: a zoom, recenter, push across a dashboard, or pullback from a detail to the full product. The viewer should feel the camera moving, not a card sliding.

Common mistakes

Using springy overshoot on camera moves; easing every object with the camera curve; making camera moves so long that the cut loses energy.

How Impractical uses it

Impractical uses a named promo-inout curve for camera work so big moves feel cinematic and controlled. It separates camera language from UI entrance language instead of letting every tween share one default ease.
